Statement of Beliefs
The Bible (Scriptures) is the sole authoritative, and inspired Word of God and, in its original text, is the inerrant, infallible revelation of God to man.
II Timothy 3: 16-17
The Scriptures reveal God as a Triune Being of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. They are one and yet individual and are equally God.
(John 16: 7-16, Matthew 3: 16-17, Matt. 28:18-19)
The Scriptures reveal Jesus as the Son of God, Who, though eternally God, became a man, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. He was both fully God and fully man.
(Matthew 1: 18-23, John 1:11-14, John 1:18)
The Scriptures teach that all men have sinned and are not capable of providing their own salvation, thus they each have need of a Savior.
(Acts 4:10-12, Romans 3:23, Ephesians 1:7, Ephesians 2: 8-9)
Jesus was the fulfillment of Old Testament prophesy concerning the Messiah. He lived a sinless life so that He would be the Savior of humanity. His death on the cross provided the atonement for man’s sin and faith in His sacrifice is God’s only provision for salvation.
(Isaiah 7:14, John 1:29, I Peter 3:18)
Jesus was raised from the dead as proof of God’s ultimate authority in Heaven and Earth. He now sits at the right hand of the Father as an Advocate and Intercessor for Christian believers.
(Ephesians 1: 19-22, Psalm 110:1, Romans 8:34)
The Scriptures promise the return of Jesus as the fulfillment of all prophesy concerning the eternal establishment of God’s Kingdom. Known as the Hope of the Saints, this promise assures all believers of an eternal glorified body and a place in God’s eternal Home.
(I Cor. 15:45-58, I Thess. 4:13-18)
